Parcare Publica (Public Parking) is a workshop inspired by the idea of lack of space availability of flat apartments, where the consequences of the architecture programs resulted from the communist regime have dictated lifes full of compromises in many urban communities. Matteo Verazzi, Andrea Marino & Alexandra Deganutti have come up with an unusual solution: Their design is composed a storeyed metal scaffolding pavilion structure that brings the private spaces (kitchen, living room, dinning etc) into the public space, as an extension of individual needs. It’s an experimental installation which has multiple functions, destined for the local community to utilise.
